El Querandí
Gastronomy
For many years now, El Querandí has been proud to have the best and most complete tango restaurant in Buenos Aires. We have a wide gastronomic offer, featuring the typical dishes from the vast geography of our beautiful country. This cuisine is combined with a splendid and unique tango show, which will transform your evening into a truly unforgettable experience.
We invite you to enjoy an exquisite a la carte dinner, with more than twenty regional dishes that precede the tango show, where musicians, dancers and singers invite us to pay homage to the essence of Buenos Aires nightlife. The menu consists of three steps: starter, main course and dessert; and includes soft drinks, beer, wine, coffee and/or tea.
#1 Tango Restaurant in Buenos Aires

Our tango restaurant in San Telmo, the historical center of the city, features the most representative dishes of Argentine cuisine: undoubtedly the best prelude to an evening of music and dance. It is set in our traditional hall with a capacity of 120 people, decorated and restored while respecting its original architecture from the early 20th century. The hall boasts its imposing boiserie with deep tones, its Solomon-like columns, its checkered floors, and its traditional and impressive wooden and granite bar. All of these elements come together to create an unbeatable space for experiencing a truly magical evening.

For all these reasons, El Querandí is widely recognized around the world as the best tango restaurant in Buenos Aires: an extraordinary and mythical place precisely because it manages to perpetuate the magic of the city’s ancient salons and milongas in our times, in addition to offering the possibility of tasting the most delicious regional dishes of our country.
Tango is undoubtedly the most heartfelt and authentic expression of the Rioplatense culture, capable of intensely expressing the passion, melancholy, and nostalgia of the city. In that context, El Querandí’s proposal seeks to honor that glorious past but also keep it alive every night, in every dish, in every note, in every beat; and it achieves this by making each evening memorable for all our guests.
